ABOUT AYPN

AYPN has a membership of nearly 500 members with careers that span virtually every industry including: banking, real estate, non-profit, insurance, education, law, medicine and many others. Click here for a list of member employers.

AYPN exists for the sole purpose of keeping young, talented professionals in Arkansas as the future executives of the state.

We recognize that there is a void in central Arkansas for young professionals. AYPN works to fill that void by providing opportunities for its members to communicate, collaborate, and recreate with co-workers, colleagues, and friends.

A 2004 study focused on the economic growth of the Little Rock metro stated that,

"Recruiting and retaining people between the ages of 25-45 is an important part of the competitiveness of a region. These are the workers that fuel knowledge-based companies. Quality of life serves an important role in recruiting and retaining these young professionals." Click here to access the full report.

We believe that by focusing on professional networking, professional development, economic development, and community involvement we will help to create a recruiting and retaining force in central Arkansas that will increase the economic sustainability of the region.

more educated about business. They have effectively
promoted Arkansas and have encouraged young professionals
to seek career opportunities in Arkansas. Their commitment
to community involvement has been very impressive. I wish
AYPN was around when I began my career."

“A recent economic development study concluded that Little
Rock needed a strong young professionals association to attract
companies with higher paying jobs. The Little Rock Chamber
was very excited to find that not only did one exist, but it was
growing and very active in the community. A dynamic AYPN
will play a key role in the recruiting of new jobs to the Little
Rock market.”

Bob Birch
President, Twin City Bank
